Previously, we simply cleared the queue, leaving any pending promises
unresolved, and we checked for isResolved()/isPending() in
storageEngine.js (and maybe other places). storageEngine.js was changed
to simply await those promises, but that results in a hang if the queue
is stopped, since the promises were never resolved. Instead, when
stopping the queue, reject queued promises with a CanceledException and
ignore those promises in storageEngine.js.
All module code runs in strict mode, and that breaks Bluebird.
And add a partial shim for the simplest and most useful methods. Not
sure if we actually want that, or if we should just replace it entirely
with native methods.
- This commit will retrigger the installation for all word processor
plugins. For the majority of users this will succeed silently.
- It will fail with an error for Windows users that have Word open.
- It will succeed with a warning for macOS users that have Word open.
- The updated error prompt links to the new documentation page for
failed plugin installs
This required some tweaks to other parts of Zotero infrastructure:
- Search:
- Add 'includeDeleted' condition to match behavior of 'includeTrashed' API
parameter in a single search
- Data objects:
- Improve toResponseJSON() implementations so output better matches the web
API
- Add toResponseJSON() to Zotero.Tags - has to be async so it can query the
database and generally works differently from other toResponseJSON()
functions, but accomplishes the same task
- Remove unused getAPIData() and apiDataGenerator() DataObject functions. They
aren't functional and wouldn't really make implementing the local server
easier, so now seemed like a decent time to remove them
- Server:
- Support resolving routes using pathparser.jsm
- Add allowMissingParams option to PathParser#add(): prevents /route from
matching /route/:param
- Replace the query property of the data object sent to endpoint init()s with
searchParams, an instance of URLSearchParams - supports #getAll() for
repeatable parameters
- URIs:
- Make getObjectURI() public, add utilities for converting URIs to API
endpoints and web library URLs
