override-dependencies entry, which is a uv workspace setting and never reaches
published metadata, keeps our own lock and Docker images on 50.0.0
mlflow only uses PBKDF2HMAC, AESGCM, Fernet, InvalidTag and hashes from
cryptography; none of those are affected by the 49 or 50 breaking changes, so
overriding its ceiling is safe in practice
cryptography 49 dropped its x86_64 macOS and 32-bit Windows wheels. Linux CI
and the Docker images are unaffected; developers on Intel Macs will build from
source
uv.lock was re-derived on this line rather than taking the source lock hunks.
The delta is cryptography 48.0.1 -> 50.0.0 and the mlflow trio 3.14.0 ->
3.15.0, matching the source commit. mlflow is moved deliberately and not as
incidental drift: 3.14.0 declares cryptography<49 while 3.15.0 declares <50, so
holding mlflow would have placed the lock two majors past its declared cap
instead of one. msal did not need to follow here and stays at 1.36.0.

aiohttp 3.14.0 and 3.14.1 re-arm the sock_read timer on a keep-alive
connection after it has already been returned to the idle pool. The stray
timer stamps a SocketTimeoutError on the pooled connection without closing
it, so the pool keeps handing it out and the next request to pick it up
fails instantly on an error left behind by an earlier, unrelated request.
Because a single pool is shared across providers, the failures appear
simultaneously across Vertex AI, Bedrock, Anthropic and OpenAI-compatible
deployments as sub-millisecond "Connection timed out" errors.
uv.lock resolved aiohttp 3.14.1 and the published images install via
`uv sync --frozen`, so every image built from that lock shipped the
regression. The wheel's own metadata declared `aiohttp>=3.10,<4.0`, which
also left pip consumers free to resolve into the same broken window, so
both the runtime floor and the uv constraint move to >=3.14.2.
Upstream fixed this in aio-libs/aiohttp#12954, released in aiohttp 3.14.2;
the lock now resolves 3.14.3. Raising the floor rather than capping below
3.14 keeps the advisories that the existing 3.14.1 floor cleared, so no
osv-scanner ignores are needed. litellm requires Python >=3.10 and aiohttp
3.14.2 requires >=3.10, so no supported interpreter loses support.
Both new tests fail on the previous pins and pass on these.
uv.lock was re-derived on this line rather than taking the source lock
hunks; the resulting delta is aiohttp 3.14.1 -> 3.14.3 and nothing else.

Keys attached to an org-linked team but minted without an organization_id
produced spend that was never credited to the org: the spend writer reads
user_api_key_dict.org_id with no team fallback, while the org budget check
resolves the org from the team. The check therefore ran against a counter
fed by almost none of the org's traffic and never tripped.
Backfill org_id from the freshly fetched team object in
_run_centralized_common_checks, per request only, so the spend writer and
the budget check read the same org. A key with an explicitly pinned org_id
always wins, and the cached key row is never mutated, so moving a team to
a different org takes effect on the next auth once the team cache
refreshes.
* test(proxy): cover CLI session-token org backfill from team
CLI session tokens from /sso/cli/poll are minted with a real team_id but
no org_id, and their auth path decrypts the blob without the combined_view
team join that fills org for DB keys. Spend from these tokens reached the
team but never the org, so org budgets never tripped. The regression test
mints a real CLI token, runs it through the centralized checks, and
asserts the credential leaves auth with the team's org.

The non_root image baked the prisma CLI and engines under /app/.cache and used
the CLI's default (library) engine mode. Prisma stopped baking the library
engine, so `prisma migrate deploy` fell back to downloading it at startup,
which needs network egress and a writable cache. Under an arbitrary non-root
uid (OpenShift restricted-v2), an air-gapped network, or a readOnlyRootFilesystem,
that download fails and the proxy starts on an empty schema while every DB
endpoint returns 500. The migration entrypoint exits 0 on that failure, so a
default-uid `docker run` with network never surfaced it
Bake to /opt/prisma, a fixed world-readable path no cache mount shadows, and
pin PRISMA_CLI_PATH plus PRISMA_CLI_QUERY_ENGINE_TYPE=binary so the baked binary
engine is used directly, matching Dockerfile and Dockerfile.database. A
build-time guard asserts the binary query engine is present, so a future prisma
change that stops baking it fails the image build instead of silently degrading
migrations

Runtime XDG_CACHE_HOME pointed at /opt/prisma/.cache, which is baked a+rX with
no write, so any XDG-aware library writing a cache at runtime would be denied
for every uid. Leave it unset so it falls back to $HOME/.cache (/app/.cache,
created here and owned by the runtime uid), matching Dockerfile and
Dockerfile.database which never pin XDG at runtime. A second test guards against
a future edit pointing a cache or home var back at the read-only bake

the OAuth callback. Attaching Redis alone is not enough; poll on the original
worker returns pending forever.
Read and write the flow directly through the attached Redis backend when present
so every worker sees the same authoritative state, falling back to the in-memory
DualCache only when no Redis is configured.
* fix(proxy): serialize CLI SSO flow as JSON for the redis round trip
RedisCache stores values via str(value) and parses reads with
json.loads then ast.literal_eval. The completed flow contains a
LitellmUserRoles enum in session_data.user_role, whose repr is not a
parseable literal, so any worker reading the completed flow from redis
raised SyntaxError and returned 400 "CLI login session not found".
Writing the flow as json.dumps makes the round trip lossless (the enum
is a str subclass) and fails loudly at write time if a non-serializable
value is ever added to the flow.

Also fixes the three remaining DTZ005 naive datetime.now() calls in user_api_key_auth.py (auth span start, builder start_time, service-log end_time; all consumers convert to epoch or subtract same-pair datetimes) and ratchets the DTZ005 strict budget 244 -> 241.

Adversarial mutation-testing showed reverting the helper to in-place mutation still passed every test: the cache's copy-on-read layer masks the mutation in the integration test and the direct unit test only inspected the return value. Assert the input object is left untouched and the result is a distinct object so the purity guarantee itself is load-bearing.

temp_budget_increase was only applied on the DB-fetch path of _user_api_key_auth_builder, so a key served from the auth cache reverted to its original max_budget and was wrongly blocked with BudgetExceededError once spend crossed the original budget while staying under the effective budget.
Move _update_key_budget_with_temp_budget_increase out of the DB-only branch so it runs for every resolved token regardless of source. The cache stores the original budget and each cache hit returns a fresh model_copy(), so this never double-applies.

With enable_redis_auth_cache and multiple replicas, /key/update and
/key/delete delete the Redis auth blob and the handling pod's in-memory
entry, but two read-path writers re-published the stale blob from any other
replica's per-pod memory back to Redis with a fresh 60s TTL on every
request: the post-auth re-cache in user_api_key_auth and the spend writeback
in update_cache. Replicas whose in-memory entries expired then re-primed
themselves from the poisoned Redis entry, so key limit and access changes
never took effect fleet-wide while traffic continued, and a deleted key kept
authenticating.
The auth object is now written only by the DB-load paths
(IdentityStore._resolve_key, get_key_object): the post-auth re-cache is
removed outright (even a local-only write could race an invalidation and
resurrect a revoked key on this worker) and spend tracking no longer writes
the auth object back at all; spend is tracked through the spend🔑*
counters. The remaining spend writebacks for user, team, end-user, and tag
objects become local-only so they cannot republish stale management objects
either, with one deliberate exception: the proxy-wide
{litellm_proxy_admin_name}:spend scalar keeps its shared Redis write because
the global max_budget check reads it between authoritative DB reloads, and
it carries no limits or permissions so sharing it cannot resurrect an
invalidated auth blob.
DualCache's redis-to-memory read backfill also ignored default_in_memory_ttl,
pinning backfilled entries for InMemoryCache's 600s default instead of the
configured 60s auth TTL; the backfill now injects the configured default like
every write path already does, so a replica primed from Redis converges
within the auth cache TTL as well.
Consolidates the sibling stale-auth-recache branch; the delete-propagation
case is the duplicate ticket LIT-4350.

create_model_info_response cast cost-map max_input_tokens / max_output_tokens
with unguarded int(). The surrounding try/except covers only the get_model_info
lookup, so a deployment whose model_info carries a non-numeric limit (e.g.
"128,000" or an empty string) raised inside the per-model listing loop and
failed the entire GET /v1/models and /models response with a 500, taking healthy
deployments down with it. A deployment's model_info is registered into
litellm.model_cost verbatim, so the malformed value reaches the cost map and not
just the router index.
Router.get_configured_token_limits already coerced this safely for the
deployment path; the cost-map path was missed, so the two together still
regressed. Both now share coerce_token_limit in litellm_core_utils, which
returns None for a malformed value so the listing omits that one limit instead
of failing, matching the graceful degradation the endpoint had before the
cost-map switch.

pyo3 0.23.5 hard-caps the interpreter at Python 3.13, so building the
native bridge against a 3.14 interpreter aborts inside pyo3-ffi's build
script before anything links. This raises pyo3 and pyo3-async-runtimes
to 0.29 (currently the newest line, and the range starting at 0.26 that
supports 3.14) and migrates the three call sites whose APIs were renamed
across that range: Python::with_gil is now Python::attach and
Python::allow_threads is now Python::detach. On a GIL-enabled interpreter
those are pure renames with identical semantics, so behavior on 3.10
through 3.13 is unchanged
Verified by compiling the native module for cp313 and cp314 and driving
it directly on both interpreters: gil_stats reports exactly one GIL
release per sync OCR call and the async path completes, matching the
0.23.5 baseline. cargo fmt, clippy, and the workspace tests pass on both
3.13 and 3.14 with the lockfile locked, and the lock churn is confined to
the pyo3 crates

Split for the usage (UsagePage) segment. Most of the folder is the usage page's
own view, but four pieces are reused elsewhere and stay in @/components/UsagePage:
TopKeyView (old-usage), KeyModelUsageView and value_formatters (activity_metrics),
and the shared types (activity_metrics, chartUtils). The other 21 files move into
usage/_components, preserving the folder structure.
The external consumers import only the retained files, so they are untouched. The
moved files' imports of the retained files become @/components/UsagePage paths,
other escaping relative imports are absolutized, and lint suppressions are re-keyed
for moved files only. No behavior change.

Add an opt-in expires query param to GET /key/list so callers can fetch
only expired or only active keys without paginating every page and
filtering client-side. 'expired' matches keys whose expires is in the

alias so they satisfy the wrappers' Record<string, unknown> constraint;
interfaces lack implicit index signatures.
Tests now assert on real recharts output: bar/sector counts, cyan
fills, axis labels, donut center totals, and the TopKeyView bar-click
drill-down into the key info modal. The dead tremor chart mocks in
UsagePageView.test.tsx are removed and lint metrics/suppressions are
regenerated for the dropped tremor imports.

The sidebar account menu's copy button switched to the checkmark
synchronously, before the clipboard write settled, so it confirmed a
copy that never happened when navigator.clipboard was undefined on
non-secure origins or when writeText rejected. The handler now guards
navigator.clipboard, awaits the write, and flips to the checkmark only
on success
Also updates the header accent emoji in the same menu
* refactor(ui): extract a shared CopyButton for the sidebar account menu
The copy-icon-to-checkmark pattern was hand-rolled in several places,
including the sidebar account menu whose private copy button held the
false-confirmation bug. Extract a single canonical CopyButton into
components/shared, built on the Button primitive with a guarded and
awaited clipboard write so the checkmark appears only on a real
success, and have SidebarAccountMenu consume it
The success and failure-mode coverage now lives in the shared
component's own test; the sidebar test keeps one case asserting the
email row is wired to it
* refactor(ui): convert user agent and per-user usage charts to shadcn/recharts
Swap the tremor BarChart import for the shared shadcn/recharts wrapper in
user_agent_activity.tsx (DAU/WAU/MAU charts) and per_user_usage.tsx (usage
distribution histogram). All chart props are unchanged; the wrapper exposes
the same tremor prop surface with matching defaults.
Extend user_agent_activity.test.tsx and add per_user_usage.test.tsx with
parity assertions on the real recharts SVG output: bar series per category,
stacked x positions, resolved fill colors, axis bucket labels, legend text,
and value formatter output on axis ticks. Remove the dead ResizeObserver
polyfill in user_agent_activity.test.tsx now that the scoped global mock in
tests/setupTests.ts renders charts, which also lowers the no-explicit-any
metric by one.
* test(ui): harden bar x-position parsing against recharts path format
Some tiered Dashscope models price reasoning output above standard output
(output_cost_per_reasoning_token > output_cost_per_token). The reservation charged
all output at the standard rate, so a reasoning-heavy request reserved too little
and concurrent calls could exceed the budget before reconciliation. The reasoning
share is unknown before the request runs, so reserve every output token at the
higher of the two configured rates, for both tiered and flat pricing.

* fix(guardrails): filter Add-Guardrail mode dropdown per provider
The GET /guardrails/ui/add_guardrail_settings endpoint returned every
GuardrailEventHooks value in one flat supported_modes list, so the Admin
UI rendered pre_mcp_call as a selectable Mode for every guardrail. Saving
Content Filter or Tool Permission with pre_mcp_call then failed with a
400 because those guardrails' server-side supported_event_hooks list
excludes it.
Expose each guardrail's supported hooks as a get_supported_event_hooks
classmethod on CustomGuardrail (mirrors the existing get_config_model
pattern) and have the endpoint iterate guardrail_class_registry to build
a supported_modes_by_provider map. The UI Mode dropdown filters by that
map when the selected provider is known and falls back to the global
list otherwise. __init__ now sources its own supported_event_hooks list
from the classmethod so the two sides can't drift.
Also register BedrockGuardrail, ToolPermissionGuardrail, lakera,
lakera_v2, and presidio in guardrail_class_registry so they participate
in the map (they were previously only in guardrail_initializer_registry
and had no class-registry entry).
Behavior change: guardrails that previously had no supported_event_hooks
declared (aim, javelin, azure/text_moderation, cato_networks,
crowdstrike_aidr, headroom, hiddenlayer, lasso, noma, onyx,
prompt_security, qualifire, repelloai, zscaler_ai_guard, aporia_ai,
lakera_ai, lakera_ai_v2, mcp_jwt_signer, model_armor, presidio) now
validate the configured mode at instantiation. Existing configs where
the mode was silently a no-op will fail at proxy startup with a clear
validation error rather than running as a broken guardrail.
Resolves LIT-4226
* fix(guardrails): add LITELLM_STRICT_GUARDRAIL_MODES escape hatch, preserve current mode in edit form
Address Greptile P1 (startup break) and P2 (edit form UX):
LITELLM_STRICT_GUARDRAIL_MODES defaults to true (raise on unsupported
event_hook, unchanged behavior for the guardrails validated pre-PR).
Setting it to false logs a warning and continues, giving deployments an
opt-out while they fix configs that now surface as errors instead of
silently no-op'ing. Regression test covers both modes.
Edit form now surfaces the currently-saved mode even when it is not in
the filtered per-provider list, so a legacy row (e.g. content_filter
saved with pre_mcp_call before this fix) no longer disappears from the
dropdown; the option renders with a 'not supported by <provider>' note
so the user knows to pick another.
* fix(guardrails): correct audited hook lists, prune stale modes on provider switch, clean form lint
Audited every get_supported_event_hooks classmethod against the hooks
each guardrail's own tests exercise and its handler methods. Five were
too narrow and their tests caught it in CI: rubrik gains pre_call,
presidio gains during_call and pre_mcp_call, prompt_security, onyx and
qualifire gain during_call. The remaining classes match either their
original __init__ declarations or their exercised modes exactly.
Cursor review fixes: the Add form now drops selected modes the new
provider does not support when the user switches providers, so a
pre_mcp_call selection cannot ride along into a provider that rejects
it at save; the edit form handles list-shaped stored modes instead of
treating mode as always a string.
Extracted shared toModeArray and getSupportedModesForProvider helpers
into guardrail_info_helpers so both forms use one implementation, typed
the remaining any usages in both forms, removed nested ternaries, and
committed the ratcheted-down eslint metrics and pruned suppressions
The envelope arm bypasses user_api_key_auth, so it never ran
pre_db_read_auth_checks (request-size and body-safety limits, the IP allowlist,
and the general_settings route allowlist) that the normal MCP admission path
runs before any key lookup. A caller blocked by IP or a disallowed proxy route
could be admitted through an envelope where the same principal on the normal
path is rejected. Run those gates before the envelope crypto, mirroring the
pipeline's pre-DB ordering; a blocked IP or route surfaces its own 403.
* feat(ui): add redesigned sidebar account menu
Introduce SidebarAccountMenu, a sidebar-only account/logout menu built on
shadcn Popover/Switch/Badge/Separator/Button, and wire it into leftnav in
place of the shared UserDropdown. The panel has a LiteLLM header with the
bouncing moon and a clickable version tag, Tier/Role/Email/User ID rows
with copy actions, the five display toggles, and Logout.
UserDropdown is left untouched so the control-plane / chat navbar keeps
its existing menu. The version tag links to the same release notes page
as the navbar tag, and the bouncing icon reuses the existing header
animation gated by the Hide Bouncing Icon toggle.
* test(ui): point account-menu e2e specs at the migrated sidebar menu
The sidebar account menu moved from an antd Dropdown to a Base UI popover
(SidebarAccountMenu), so the login, logout, proxy-logout-url, and internal
user identity specs were still waiting on antd-era locators
(.ant-dropdown, the popupRender wrapper class, the user-dropdown-panel test
id, and a menuitem-role Logout). Point them at the new panel test id
(sidebar-account-menu-panel) and the button-role Logout instead. The logout
behavior is unchanged since both menus call the same useLogout handler.
The complexity router's info log didn't say what drove a routing decision.
Literal and semantic keyword matches logged an identical "keyword rule fired"
line (no way to tell which mechanism fired), and the scorer's line carried no
consistent marker tying it to the same question.
Emit one greppable line per decision naming the cause: literal_keyword_match,
semantic_keyword_match, or complexity_scorer. The hook already knows which ran
(the config's semantic_keyword_matching flag distinguishes lexical from
semantic; the override-vs-scorer branch distinguishes keyword match from
scorer), so this is label-only: no behavior change, no new types, no added
latency.
Adds regression tests asserting each decision path logs its cause; they fail if
a label is swapped or the cause= marker is dropped.
