- Add error detection for Anthropic "prompt is too long" errors - Implement automatic context reduction when token limits exceeded - Use conservative token buffering (15%) for small context windows (≤250k) - Add pre-request validation to catch token overages before API calls - Provide user feedback when automatic context reduction occurs - Add comprehensive tests for error handling scenarios Fixes #5816
