davincidreams 2fc7798424 feat: make fork standalone as Moo Code 
- Strip all telemetry (PostHog, cloud telemetry) - no data leaves the machine

- Disable all cloud features (auth, settings sync, sharing, Roo provider)

- Rebrand extension: roo-cline -> moo-code, RooVeterinaryInc -> moo-code

- Update all commands, settings, views to moo-code.* prefix

- Remove upstream CI/CD workflows (marketplace publish, nightly, website)

- Rewrite README, PRIVACY, CONTRIBUTING, SECURITY docs

- Build verified: bin/moo-code-3.52.1.vsix (31.44 MB)

Moo Code Privacy Policy

Privacy Statement

Moo Code does not collect, transmit, or store any user data. All processing happens locally on your machine.

Data Handling

  • Code & Files: Moo Code accesses files on your local machine only. When you use AI-powered features, relevant files are sent directly to your chosen AI model provider (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter). Moo Code does not intercept, store, or forward this data.
  • API Keys & Credentials: If you enter an API key, it is stored locally on your device and never sent to any third party other than the provider you have configured.
  • Telemetry: Moo Code does not collect any telemetry, usage data, or analytics. There is no tracking, no error reporting to external servers, and no usage metrics collection.
  • Marketplace: Moo Code does not connect to any marketplace or cloud services.

Your Choices & Control

  • You can run models locally to prevent data from being sent to third parties.
  • No data is collected by Moo Code itself, so there is nothing to opt out of.
