`fetch_xulrunner`, `dir_build`, and `build.sh` now take an optional `-a`
argument on Windows and Linux to specify the architecture to
fetch/build. If `-a` is omitted for `dir_build` (as in `build_and_run`),
it defaults to the current architecture.
xulrunner hashes are now computed for each architecture. This changes
some filenames in xulrunner/, so you may want to clean out some old
folders/files.
This removes the custom handling for CI, since it will now default to
the architecture of the test runner.
And:
- Use a different port for tests so server tests don't break when Zotero
is already running
- Remove no-op httpServer.enabled pref updates in tests
- It's already enabled, no test disables it, and any test that did
would clean up after itself
- Updating that pref has no effect without a separate call to
Zotero.Server.init()
- Remove unused arg to Zotero.Server.init()
In Firefox 102, `-file` was being swallowed by `nsBrowserContentHandler`
in BrowserContentHandler.jsm, so ab7d916e0 overrode that by using the
same contract id for our main nsICommandLineHandler in
zotero-service.js. But `nsBrowserContentHandler` also handles `-chrome`,
which we were using in tests to pass runtests.html. There's no need to
pass in dynamically though -- we can just hard-code that and open the
window ourselves.
The test runner now uses the Zotero executable from
`zotero-standalone-build/staging` rather than the Firefox from
`zotero-standalone-build/xulrunner`. Along with testing the actual
program, this restores visible UI updates during tests, which should
make debugging various things easier. We can also now remove anything
related to Zotero being an extension.
Many tests are still broken, but this at least lets us start running
them.
We now copy the prefs file into the app omni.ja, which requires
`pref()`, but for tests we copy it to the profile directory, where it
needs to stay as `user_pref()`.
It would be better to handle this automatically in Sinon, but as it is
uploads are compressed if they're bigger than an arbitrary limit, which
can break tests unexpectedly if they check req.requestBody.
f40b7ae6ac didn't help with people who've already upgraded, so check at
startup and show a warning if the profile is inaccessible until 1) the
profile has been accessed once or 2) the user checks "Don't show again"
in the warning dialog.
Also fix Zotero.Profile.getDefaultInProfilesDir() to properly throw an
error if it can't access the default directory.
This is useful when trying to debug an error that only happens after a
number of other tests have run -- specify -e and run tests from either
an earlier file with -s or from the beginning.
