- Save initial auth/asset reuse findings under
  docs/Design Language and Marketing/FAMILIAROS_AUTH_AND_ASSET_REUSE_FINDINGS.md.
- Save mascot design direction under
  docs/Design Language and Marketing/FAMILIAROS_MASCOT_DESIGN_DIRECTION.md.
- Split into two documents because the topics differ (technical planning vs.
  brand/visual direction).

4d99cd32fe feat(hardening): taglines, MCP Toolkit Guide rebrand, Windows bubble fix, name test 
- Rename UI panel to "MCP Toolkit Guide" with a plainer description.
- Apply taglines to README.md and package.json descriptions.
- Gate pinned-bubble backdrop-filter on Windows to avoid gray rectangles.
- Add packaging-contract assertions for pinned bubble and new description.
- Add custom-familiar-name.test.ts covering normalizeFamiliarName.
- Sync docs (FEATURES, README_OUR_CHANGES, FEATURES_OUR_CHANGES,
  PULL_REQUEST, FEATURE_REGISTRY, bug-squashing, rebrand plan,
  pr-chat-memory-mcp-toolkit).

6ab3bb64d8 feat(rebrand): rename OpenPets to FamiliarOS and pets to familiars 
- Rename all user-facing and technical identifiers from OpenPets/Pet to FamiliarOS/Familiar.
- Rename packages from @open-pets/* to @familiaros/*; rename install-pet/pet-format packages.
- Rename plugin IDs and directories from openpets.* to familiaros.*.
- Rename IPC namespace from openpets:* to familiaros:* and state filenames from openpets-* to familiaros-* with legacy migration.
- Rename source files (pet-window, built-in-pet, default-pet-controller, etc.) to familiar equivalents.
- Update locales (en, es-419, ja, ko, pt-BR, zh-Hans, zh-Hant) and tray/pet context menu strings.
- Add Familiar naming feature: preference, settings input, tray menu display.
- Update assets and packaging config; all desktop tests pass.

bb758e9d0f feat(desktop): add Text-to-Speech Phase 2 and update docs/registry 
- Add configurable TTS providers: system OS voice, OpenAI TTS, ElevenLabs,
  Piper (local), and OpenAI-compatible (OpenRouter/LiteLLM/WaveSpeedAI/custom).
- Add secure TTS credential storage, endpoint presets, voice/model/speed UI,
  and test/stop controls in Settings.
- Wire TTS to pet/floating-chat renderer via openpets:tts-speak/audio/stop IPC.
- Respect quiet hours; validate cloud endpoints and returned audio buffers.
- Add plugin voice:speak bridge and tts-engine unit tests.
- Update FEATURES.md, FEATURES_OUR_CHANGES.md, README.md, README_OUR_CHANGES.md,
  PULL_REQUEST.md, FEATURE_REGISTRY.md, and add docs/pull-requests/PR_TTS_PHASE_2.md.

524e8c70e8 Merge upstream v3.0.0 and bump to v3.1.0 
Merged origin/main (release v3.0.0) into main and preserved fork features:
- Minimal compact prompt window (140px) that expands with editor/history.
- Larger pet speech bubbles that scale with pet/window size.
- Improved chat command memory extraction (/remember, /memorize, /note, don't forget).
- Continuous pet scale slider from 0.16x to 10x (screen-filling).

Version bumped to 3.1.0.

08eff41255 feat(desktop): minimal prompt window, larger pet bubbles, improved command memory, screen-filling pet scale slider 
- Prompt window opens at 140px compact height and expands to 456px when editor/history shown.
- Pet speech bubbles scale with larger pets and window sizes; removed text overflow clipping.
- Extracted prompt memory extraction into testable module; added /remember, /memorize, /note, don't forget patterns.
- Replaced pet scale dropdown with continuous slider from 0.16x to 10x.
- Added prompt-memory-extraction.test.ts and updated packaging/onboarding tests.
