check_view_exists() only ever read DATABASE_SCHEMA (defaulting to "public") to decide which pg_views to query, even though an operator who pins DATABASE_URL directly (rather than assembling it from discrete DATABASE_* vars) never sets DATABASE_SCHEMA at all -- Prisma resolves the schema from the URL's own ?schema= param. Deployments on a non-public schema got a false "Not all views exist in db" warning on every startup despite every view existing and being queryable. Add schema_from_database_url() to read the ?schema= param directly off DATABASE_URL, and fall back to it before defaulting to "public". |
