The pipeline stamps litellm_call_id only after auth, body parsing and model resolution, so a failure reaching the hook without one died before any provider was considered. _handle_logging_proxy_only_error flags those requests when it mints the call id, and is_pre_routing_rejection keys off that flag plus ProxyModelNotFoundError. The failure handler now stores an object() sentinel whenever it finds no logging object, and is_pre_routing_rejection checks identity, which JSON cannot forge.
