The added carries-a-role-into-the-payload case has failed on multiple staging pushes with 'Unable to find role=option and name /^admin/' when the runner is loaded (14 vitest forks, 16-core host). Base UI Select's popup mounts through a portal with a positioner, and the default findByRole timeout of 1000ms is not enough headroom for that mount when CPU is oversubscribed; the same test passes locally without extra time. Raising the option lookup to 5000ms, in line with the 3000ms already used for the user-filter debounce elsewhere in this file.
