Mistral bills cached prompt tokens at 10% of the input price for every model, but twelve
active mistral/ chat rows had no cache_read_input_token_cost, so the cost calculator billed
their cache hits at zero. Adds the derived rate to those rows in both registry copies and a
registry invariant test that fails when an active priced Mistral chat row drops the field or
drifts from the 10% ratio

LiteLLM sends the Bedrock Mantle GPT rows through Bedrock's Responses endpoint, which refuses minimal on gpt-5.4 and gpt-5.5 like every other Bedrock GPT row. The earlier commit measured the raw chat endpoint, which accepts it, and dropped the flag by mistake. The ladder test now matches what the proxy path returns
Live calls to Bedrock Mantle and Converse on 2026-09-11: the gpt-5.6 luna, sol, and terra rows and gpt-6-astra return 200 on reasoning_effort=max, gpt-6-astra returns 400 on none, and Mantle gpt-5.4 and gpt-5.5 return 200 on minimal. The commercial Bedrock rows now carry exactly those flags, and the schema test asserts the measured ladder per row instead of a blanket mirror of the direct OpenAI rows
OpenAI rejects every reasoning.effort on chat-latest except medium. With supports_reasoning set and no declared levels the entry resolved to None, so /model_group/info and the dashboard effort pickers had nothing to narrow the offered levels with
A live cost map older than this release, or a proxy whose map fetch lags, could
strip `reasoning` from a model this release knows accepts it. The bundled map is
now the floor: any OpenAI entry it flags as reasoning keeps the param whatever
the live map says. Fine-tuned ids with an empty suffix (`ft:gpt-4o-2024-08-06:org::id`)
now resolve to their base entry instead of failing open, `chat-latest` carries
the flag, and the schema test keeps every codex, deep-research, and chat-latest
entry flagged. The none-effort check goes through a public wrapper so the
responses config stops importing a private helper.
The three lite-image keys landed on the deploy branch separately while this
branch was open, so merging left every key defined twice in both price maps.
The merge is clean as text and the file still parses, but JSON keeps the last
occurrence of a repeated key, so the first copy's supported_endpoints,
supported_modalities and supports_system_messages were being dropped without
any error.
Each key is now one entry, placed next to its gemini-3.1-flash-image sibling
rather than at the end of the file.
supports_reasoning goes to false on all three, matching every other Gemini
image model. Leaving it off is not neutral: _supports_factory falls through to
the vertex_ai provider config, which answers true, and reasoning_effort then
gets forwarded to an image endpoint that rejects it. That was fixed for the
rest of the family in 75dd70a678 and these entries had drifted back.
Also fills in what the entries were missing against Google's published
pricing: the Vertex implicit cache read rate, batch rates on the Vertex
routes, and the pdf/video input flags.
The two overlapping test files are folded into one, and the price map suite
grows a duplicate-key guard so the next clean-but-lossy merge fails loudly.
Dated snapshots like o4-mini-2025-04-16 were missing the flex and priority cost keys their base alias carries, so service-tier requests against pinned snapshots were billed at standard rates. Sync the tier keys wherever the snapshot's anchor prices match the base alias, and add a drift regression test.
