Resolve conflicts in common_request_processing.py (keep main streaming,
post_call_success_hook try/finally, deferred logging; retain skip_pre_call_logic)
and utils.py (defer + internal-call skip + sync success callbacks for all calls).

Tighten _has_post_call_guardrails for event_hook=None; align deferred
guardrail test. Sync model_prices_and_context_window_backup.json.

Pyright: narrow ignores for passthrough StreamingResponse and post_call hook.

fix(whisper): correct output_cost_per_second pricing and cost calculation (#23842)
- Set output_cost_per_second to 0.0 (was 0.0001) for whisper-1 and
  azure/whisper-1: transcription is billed on input duration only,
  not output duration
- Fix cost_per_second() in openai/cost_calculation.py: change elif to if
  so input_cost_per_second is evaluated independently of output_cost_per_second,
  and remove the erroneous completion_cost = 0.0 assignment that masked
  any previously-set output cost
- Add TestCostPerSecondArithmetic unit tests covering both cost fields,
  the None-guard, and zero-duration edge case

Addresses all missing pieces from the scoping doc review:

FR-5 (Verify + re-sign): MCPJWTSigner now accepts access_token_discovery_uri
and token_introspection_endpoint.  When set, the incoming Bearer token is
extracted from raw_headers (threaded through pre_call_tool_check), verified
against the IdP's JWKS (JWT) or introspected (opaque), and only re-signed if
valid.  Falls back to user_api_key_dict.jwt_claims for LiteLLM JWT-auth mode.

FR-12 (Configurable end-user identity mapping): end_user_claim_sources
ordered list drives sub resolution — sources: token:<claim>, litellm:user_id,
litellm:email, litellm:end_user_id, litellm:team_id.

FR-13 (Claim operations): add_claims (insert-if-absent), set_claims (always
override), remove_claims (delete) applied in that order.

FR-14 (Two-token model): channel_token_audience + channel_token_ttl issue a
second JWT injected as x-mcp-channel-token: Bearer <token>.

FR-15 (Incoming claim validation): required_claims raises HTTP 403 when any
listed claim is absent; optional_claims passes listed claims from verified
token into the outbound JWT.

FR-9 (Debug headers): debug_headers: true emits x-litellm-mcp-debug with kid,
sub, iss, exp, scope.

FR-10 (Configurable scopes): allowed_scopes replaces auto-generation.  Also
fixed: tool-call JWTs no longer grant mcp:tools/list (overpermission).

P1 fixes:
- proxy/utils.py: _convert_mcp_hook_response_to_kwargs merges rather than
  replaces extra_headers, preserving headers from prior guardrails.
- mcp_server_manager.py: warns when hook injects Authorization alongside a
  server-configured authentication_token (previously silent).
- mcp_server_manager.py: pre_call_tool_check now accepts raw_headers and
  extracts incoming_bearer_token so FR-5 verification has the raw token.
- proxy/utils.py: remove stray inline import inspect inside loop (pre-existing
  lint error, now cleaned up).

Tests: 43 passing (28 new tests covering all FR flags + P1 fixes).

* feat(mcp_jwt_signer): add verify+re-sign, claim ops, two-token model, configurable scopes (core)

mcp_jwt_signer.py — full rewrite with all new params:
  FR-5:  access_token_discovery_uri, token_introspection_endpoint,

mcp_server_manager.py:
  - pre_call_tool_check gains raw_headers param to extract incoming_bearer_token
  - Silent Authorization override warning fixed: now fires when server has
    authentication_token AND hook injects Authorization

tests/test_mcp_jwt_signer.py:
  28 new tests covering all FR flags + P1 fixes (43 total, all passing)

* fix(mcp_jwt_signer): address pre-landing review issues

- Remove stale TODO comment on UserAPIKeyAuth.jwt_claims — the field is
  already populated and consumed by MCPJWTSigner in the same PR
- Fix _get_oidc_discovery to only cache the OIDC discovery doc when
  jwks_uri is present; a malformed/empty doc now retries on the next
  request instead of being permanently cached until proxy restart
- Add FR-5 test coverage for _fetch_jwks (cache hit/miss),
  _get_oidc_discovery (cache/no-cache on bad doc), _verify_incoming_jwt
  (valid token, expired token), _introspect_opaque_token (active,
  inactive, no endpoint), and the end-to-end 401 hook path — 53 tests
  total, all passing

* docs(mcp_zero_trust): rewrite as use-case guide covering all new JWT signer features

Update JWT claims table to reflect configurable sub (end_user_claim_sources)

* fix(mcp_jwt_signer): wire all config.yaml params through initialize_guardrail

The factory was only passing issuer/audience/ttl_seconds to MCPJWTSigner.
All FR-5/9/10/12/13/14/15 params (access_token_discovery_uri,
end_user_claim_sources, add/set/remove_claims, channel_token_audience,
required/optional_claims, debug_headers, allowed_scopes, etc.) were
silently dropped, making every advertised advanced feature non-functional
when loaded from config.yaml.

Add regression test that asserts every param is wired through correctly.

* docs(mcp_zero_trust): add hero image

* docs(mcp_zero_trust): apply Linear-style edits

- Lead with the problem (unsigned direct calls bypass access controls)

- Remove alg from unverified JWT header; use signing_jwk.algorithm_name from JWKS key instead.
  Reading alg from attacker-controlled headers enables alg:none / HS256 confusion attacks.
- Add _oidc_discovery_fetched_at timestamp and _OIDC_DISCOVERY_TTL = 86400 (24h).
  Without a TTL the cached discovery doc never refreshes, so IdP key rotation is invisible.

* fix(ci): aggregate all mock calls in langfuse e2e test to fix race condition

The _verify_langfuse_call helper only inspected the last mock call
(mock_post.call_args), but the Langfuse SDK may split trace-create and
generation-create events across separate HTTP flush cycles. This caused
an IndexError when the last call's batch contained only one event type.

Fix: iterate over mock_post.call_args_list to collect batch items from
ALL calls. Also add a safety assertion after filtering by trace_id and

f3ceb69e9f fix(vertex-ai): override unsupported user region for models with supported_regions
- get_vertex_region now overrides user-specified region when it's not in
  the model's supported_regions list (prevents 404 for users with a
  global VERTEXAI_LOCATION default hitting global-only models)

c63b7965bd fix(vertex_ai): add supported_regions for zai-org/glm-4.7-maas
Add `supported_regions: ["global"]` to the GLM-4.7 model configuration
so that LiteLLM automatically uses the correct global endpoint.

Without this, users must manually specify `vertex_location: global`,
otherwise LiteLLM defaults to us-central1 which returns 404.

[Docs] Fix "Page Not Found" link for Anthropic endpoint (#23349)
* fix(anthropic): enforce type:'object' on tool input schemas

Anthropic's API requires all tool input_schema to have type:'object'
at the root level. When OpenAI-format tools have parameters with a
missing or non-'object' type field (common with MCP tool servers),
the schema was passed through unchanged, causing Anthropic to reject
with: 'tools.N.custom.input_schema.type: Input should be object'.

The existing default handles the case where parameters is entirely
missing, but does not normalize schemas that ARE provided with a
wrong or absent type field.

Fix: After extracting _input_schema in _map_tool_helper(), ensure
type is set to 'object' and properties exists. This matches the
normalization already done implicitly by the Bedrock handler.

Added 4 unit tests covering: missing type, wrong type, valid schema
(no-op), and entirely missing parameters.

Related issues: #12020, #64, #1671

* fix(anthropic): deduplicate tool_result messages by tool_call_id

Anthropic requires exactly one tool_result per tool_use. When
conversation history (e.g. from session resume/checkpoint restore)
contains duplicate tool result messages with the same tool_call_id,
the API rejects with: 'each tool_use must have a single result.
Found multiple tool_result blocks with id: <id>'.

This is already handled for Bedrock via _deduplicate_bedrock_tool_content()
but was missing from the Anthropic direct and Vertex AI partner paths,
which share sanitize_messages_for_tool_calling().

Fix: Add Case D to sanitize_messages_for_tool_calling() — after the
existing orphan detection passes, scan for duplicate tool_call_ids
and keep only the last occurrence (most complete result).

Added 3 unit tests: dedup with duplicates, no-op with unique IDs,
and behavior when modify_params=False.

Related issues: #11804, #11029, #6836, #1782, #151

6bc4cc8f0f feat(openai): add supports_web_search to OpenAI models with Responses API
Add `supports_web_search: true` to 31 OpenAI models that support the
`web_search_preview` tool via the Responses API. This enables the Router
to correctly include these deployments when requests use web search tools.

Models excluded (tested, confirmed unsupported):
- o1-pro (Tool 'web_search_preview' is not supported)
- gpt-audio / gpt-audio-mini (not supported)
- gpt-4.1-nano (not supported)
- codex-mini-latest (model not found)

Also removes the invalid `gpt-5.3` entry added in prior commit
(model name does not exist in OpenAI API; use gpt-5.3-chat-latest).

af297dc082 fix(openai): clean up gpt-5.3 model entry fields
- Remove dead fields: supports_none_reasoning_effort, supports_xhigh_reasoning_effort
  (not referenced anywhere in the codebase)
- Remove supports_web_search (inconsistent with other base models)
- Add supports_service_tier (consistent with gpt-5, gpt-5.1, gpt-5.2)
