* chore(caching)!: remove the disk cache backend
Drop the disk cache type and its diskcache dependency, along with the
caching install extra that existed only to pull it in. diskcache has not
had a release since August 2023
Cache now raises a ValueError listing the supported types when it gets a
type it does not know. Before, an unknown type built a Cache with no
backend, which only failed on first use
BREAKING CHANGE: cache_params type "disk" and the litellm[caching] extra
are gone. A proxy configured with type disk now refuses to start. Use
local or redis instead
* test(proxy): expect the unsupported cache type error from _init_cache
The test pinned the old fallthrough, where an unknown type left the cache
without a backend and the proxy hit an AttributeError reading it
* chore(deps): drop the diskcache scan ignore main extended
diskcache is no longer in the lock, so the ignore matches nothing
* fix(caching): ignore a leftover disk_cache_dir instead of crashing redis and s3
Dropping the disk_cache_dir parameter sent the key into **kwargs, which
the redis and s3 branches hand to their clients, so a config that moved
from the disk cache to redis or s3 and kept the key failed with a
TypeError. Accept the key again, ignore it, and log a warning
The unsupported type test now checks the whole supported list, and two
proxy docstrings no longer name disk as a cache backend
* fix(caching): warn about a leftover disk_cache_dir only once the cache is built
The warning ran before the type check, so a config with type disk logged
that the key was ignored and then failed on the type anyway. It now logs
only after a supported backend is built. The test also checks that a
cache without the key logs nothing

Pillow 13.0.0 requires Python >= 3.11, so the ci group pin is split by
Python version and the 3.10 resolution stays on 12.3.0 with a 7-day
osv-scanner override. Dashboard vite moves from 7.3.5 to 7.3.7. The
certifi fix (2026.10.19) is still inside the 3-day uv exclude-newer
window, so its advisory is ignored until 2026-10-23

gitpython 3.1.62 (2026-09-07) and tornado 6.5.10 (2026-09-15) are past the
3-day uv cooldown. diskcache still has no fixed release, so its ignore moves
from 2026-10-01 to 2026-11-01
pyjwt 2.13.0 -> 2.14.0 (uv.lock only, pyproject floor unchanged), moment
2.30.1 -> 2.31.0 and the brace-expansion override 5.0.9 -> 5.0.12 in the
dashboard. oauthlib's only fixed release (4.0.0, 2026-09-28) is still inside
the 3-day uv exclude-newer cooldown, so its two findings are ignored until
2026-10-02
The advisory was modified 2026-08-31 and flags mlflow 3.13.0 through
3.15.2 with no fixed release published, so every osv-scan run fails
with nothing to bump. Same treatment as the existing diskcache entry.
GHSA-fp3f-mc75-235c was published at 19:29 UTC today, hours after #36212 landed, and covers a different pypdf issue (large memory use on big /ToUnicode streams) that lands on the same 6.15.0 fix. It reds osv-scan on every PR into staging again.
pypdf 6.15.0 is still inside the repo's P3D exclude-newer window until 08-09, so uv cannot lock it yet and widening exclude-newer to pull it in early would weaken the freshness guard for every package. This gets the same 08-12 ignoreUntil as the first pypdf entry so both drop together in the bump.

Closes the six gitpython advisories flagged on litellm_internal_staging (GHSA-jm78-9fvv-mhgr and GHSA-wvpp-8hx9-p66j at 8.8, GHSA-hmq2-w58f-27jc at 8.2, GHSA-4gmw-gg2m-w46p at 8.1, GHSA-9rj7-rf2p-w77r at 7.5, GHSA-hh9p-6wh2-4mfc at 6.5). gitpython comes in transitively through mlflow-skinny, so this is a lock-only change re-derived with 'uv lock --upgrade-package gitpython'.
The seventh finding, GHSA-fwg2-594c-jp42 on pypdf, cannot be fixed the same way today: pypdf 6.15.0 published 2026-08-06 and the repo pins exclude-newer to a 3 day window, so uv will not resolve it before 2026-08-09. Rather than widen that window, the advisory gets a short dated IgnoredVulns entry that expires 2026-08-12, which leaves a hard deadline to land the real bump. It is a local, user-interaction denial of service on crafted CID font widths at CVSS 4.8, so a couple of days of exposure in the lock is acceptable.

Bumps the 12 packages osv-scanner flags on litellm_internal_staging, taking
the scan from 24 known vulnerabilities to zero. vcrpy goes to 8.2.1 first so
aiohttp can move to 3.14.1 (vcrpy <= 8.1.1 cannot import aiohttp 3.14), then
the two aiohttp ignore entries are dropped from osv-scanner.toml. The
langchain stack moves together since langchain 1.3.9 requires langgraph 1.2.x.
Runtime deps cryptography (48.0.1), starlette (1.3.1), python-multipart
(0.0.32), pydantic-settings (2.14.2) and pypdf (6.13.3) are bumped via relock,
and the dashboard's js-yaml, ws and form-data overrides are bumped too.
Also removes the paths filter on the OSV workflow so it runs on every PR
rather than only when a lockfile changes, which is why it never showed up on
recent code-only PRs
* ci: add osv-scanner lockfile scan workflow
Daily scheduled scan plus a pull_request scan scoped to uv.lock and the
dashboard package-lock.json. The osv-scanner v2.3.8 binary is fetched by
full release URL and verified against its official SHA-256 before use;
the job needs no credentials and runs with contents: read only.
osv-scanner.toml carries the single suppression for the diskcache
advisory, which has no fixed release published
* ci: temporary push trigger for runtime verification (will be dropped)
* ci: harden osv-scan per review (RUNNER_TEMP, job-scoped permissions, suppression expiry)
* ci: drop temporary push trigger after runtime verification
* ci: suppress aiohttp advisories while vcrpy blocks the 3.14 bump
Time-boxed like the diskcache entry: ignoreUntil forces a dated
re-triage if no vcrpy release has shipped by then
