fix(proxy): compare the stream buffer through a cast

Browse source 
Binding the narrowed operand to Sequence[object] moved the error from
reportUnknownArgumentType to reportUnknownVariableType. Cast it where it
is compared, with the cast-ok marker the discipline gate asks for.
