fix(proxy): handle partial failure in temp-dir restructure; add atexit cleanup

On copy/restructure failure, clean up the partial temp dir immediately and
log a clear warning instead of silently falling back to the original
unstructured path. Register atexit cleanup so the temp dir is removed when
the process exits normally.
