`run.branch` and `git.identity` are written by the checkpoint that creates the run branch, before that firing's finish is appended, and carried no position, so the stream ordered them by the millisecond clock: on either side of the finish from one run to the next. Both now take that checkpoint's stage position, and the existing ordering rule places them after the firing's finish and before its routes, beside its checkpoint record.
