From a281918c5963e9114c32f6107ba561eba650adad Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: JohnBurtt10-bot Date: Tue, 3 Feb 2026 11:12:17 -0500 Subject: [PATCH] fix: auto-continue command execution when auto-approved When command_output ask is auto-approved (e.g., in voice mode or via non-blocking ask), the process.continue() was only called when response was "messageResponse". This meant auto-approval with "yesButtonClicked" would not actually continue the command execution. Now process.continue() is called for any response type, ensuring auto-approval works correctly. --- src/core/tools/ExecuteCommandTool.ts | 5 ++++- 1 file changed, 4 insertions(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/src/core/tools/ExecuteCommandTool.ts b/src/core/tools/ExecuteCommandTool.ts index fca3cf7a31..a5316222b9 100644 --- a/src/core/tools/ExecuteCommandTool.ts +++ b/src/core/tools/ExecuteCommandTool.ts @@ -248,10 +248,13 @@ export async function executeCommandInTerminal( const { response, text, images } = await task.ask("command_output", "") runInBackground = true + // Handle both user clicking "Continue While Running" (yesButtonClicked) + // and user providing a message (messageResponse) if (response === "messageResponse") { message = { text, images } - process.continue() } + // Always continue the process when user responds + process.continue() } catch (_error) { // Silently handle ask errors (e.g., "Current ask promise was ignored") }
