U9, once at the tip rather than once per language commit through U8. Seven `*-captures-golden` snapshots and twelve `bench/scope-capture` fingerprints move. The drift is additive in the way that matters and it was checked, not assumed: 74 digest lines changed and **zero** `captureGroups` counts did. The chain tag is added to existing call matches, so no fixture gained or lost a match group. Three wired languages did NOT drift — `c`, `dart`, `cobol`. Their fixture corpora contain no chained call receiver, so the self-gating helper mints nothing. That is the design working, not a wiring miss; the inventory test pins the roster separately. `bench/python-scope` uses PLAIN TEXT baselines, not `baselines.json` — a grep for the JSON file misses them entirely, which is how a stale python fingerprint shipped in #2522. Both were checked: `baseline-fingerprint.txt` moves (capture drift, as expected) and `baseline-import-target-fingerprint.txt` correctly does NOT, because it fingerprints resolver output rather than captures. Swept the whole repo, `bench/` included, for anything minting receiver-chain shapes synthetically. Nothing does — every reference routes through the shared codec or the shared emitter helper, and the extractor decodes at exactly one point. All six bench gates green: scope-capture (15 languages), python-scope capture, python-scope import-target, receiver-resolution, callable-value-flow, scope-emission. |
