Mick Cooney cfe590b4b1 perf(r): scan NAMESPACE conditional blocks in linear time ... An unterminated `{` after an `if` scanned to the end of the file, and the resynchronisation then landed inside the region just scanned, so a file of `if (a) {` lines with no `}` was quadratic (300 KB took 8.8 s, and the file is parsed several times per analysis).
